Diesel Hammer

In October 2011, at the construction site of a trestle project in Shenzhen, South China, our D125 high-energy diesel hammer was successfully deployed for field operations. The mission involved collaborating with a large-scale piling barge to drive steel pipe piles with a diameter of 800mm and lengths reaching an impressive 70 meters.

Facing the deep overburden and complex geological structures typical of coastal regions, the D125 utilized its superior single-impact kinetic energy and high penetration efficiency to ensure that the 70-meter ultra-long piles were precisely driven to the design depth. Furthermore, the equipment effectively maintained the axial verticality of the pile bodies throughout the continuous striking process. This robust performance in a key Shenzhen hydraulic engineering project once again underscores the technical leadership of STARKE diesel hammers in handling large-diameter and ultra-deep foundation engineering.
