Diesel Hammer

In May 2018, at the construction site of a terminal project in Nansha, Panyu, Guangzhou—a key hub within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area—our D160 high-energy diesel hammer was successfully deployed for field operations. The mission involved driving large-diameter steel pipe piles with a diameter of 1200mm and lengths of 38 meters.

Facing Nansha’s typical silty soil and complex alluvial strata, the D160 utilized its core advantages of massive single-impact energy and strong penetration capability. This ensured that the steel pipe piles were precisely driven to the design elevation under continuous impact while maintaining excellent verticality control. This robust performance in a large-scale terminal foundation project once again validates the technical maturity of STARKE high-energy diesel hammers in handling large-diameter marine foundation engineering.
