Hydraulic Impact Hammer

In June 2013, at the construction site of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB)—a world-class sea-crossing passage—our HHP35 (525kJ) large-scale hydraulic impact hammer delivered an outstanding performance. For this operation, the equipment was integrated with the large-scale piling barge "Luqiao Piling 8" to jointly undertake the driving of large-diameter steel casing piles, measuring 2500mm in diameter and up to 67 meters in length. As the world's longest span sea-crossing bridge with the highest construction difficulty, the project's geological environment is extremely complex. Leveraging its massive impact energy of 525kJ, the HHP35 efficiently overcame the penetration resistance of deep seabed soil layers while ensuring pile verticality and structural integrity. This successful application in a major strategic national project underscores the top-tier technical strength of STARKE piling equipment in the field of ultra-large marine engineering foundations.
